Dear Fellow Educators on This Thrilling Journey With Our Students,

We’ve all had challenging situations we’ve encountered in our classrooms--some
heart-wrenching, some maddening, some hilarious. And we’ve found creative solutions to these problems that have actually changed the lives of our students for the better…and transformed our own lives, as well.

So, as a way to share these stories and offer insights to other teachers, I’ve created this blog--an educational story blog to use as a fun, teaching platform for the rest of our profession. This is a gathering place for teacher experiences, problems and solutions to post--anonymously--for other educators to commiserate with, laugh over and learn from.

I edit a bit, change the names to protect both the guilty and the innocent and post these shares as “anonymous,” so that the author, the students, and the schools will not be revealed.

This blog includes educators from preschool through graduate school. (Working with PhD candidates can be exasperating as teaching five-year-olds.)

Some of our stories are huge, some are quiet. But we’ve all got experiences to share that matter to other teachers who are pulling their hair trying to find a solution that we’ve already discovered.

If you have a story you’d like to tell, please contact me at:

I look forward to reading about your life in the classroom. And I’m sure your fellow teachers do, too.

Warm thoughts,
Danielle
